New Book on the Horizon!

I'm going to be working on a new book, one that I will be posting on the website Wattpad.  Hopefully, I will be putting up the new chapter soon.

I also had a mention on the Facebook page called "What to Read After 50 Shades of Grey." Amazing, the power of social media, I suddenly had a bump in sales just after that.

Writing is such fun!

The Meridian Gamble Free Day 12/08/12!

The Meridian Gamble is having a free day on Amazon.com, 12/8/12.  It's fun to see that almost a hundred copies have been downloaded today, so far.  I put up (or tried) to put up some ads on different blogs, now I have to go back and see which ones actually posted.

I've been hanging out on the Kindle Boards lately, trying to figure out the world of marketing my book.  There is a blog that offers postings for indie authors, and I submitted "The Meridian Gamble."  Check it out to find some cool new books.

Geez, I love Felicia Day.  She's fantastic.  And now I want to go to Australia to pet koalas (not bears, they're marsupials) and walk on the skywalk thing she's walking around on.

The Guild Season Seven

As long as I'm blogging again, I need to start posting videos from Geek and Sundry, specifically "The Guild" and "The Flog."  I love Felicia Day, she's hysterical, though I'm not completely loving this season, but ... it definitely ranks high amongst the seasons.  Nothing will top the one where they went up against the evil guild.

Well, I was going to start a new blog, but I realized that I still have one.  Might as well keep it.

I've been editing my book, and I'm almost at the point where I'm going to put it up on the ibookstore and on Amazon.  Pretty exciting, but it's amazing how many little details you have to focus on.  For example, I never realized that in publishing you put only one space between sentences.  Then, for some inexplicable reason, my Pages program decided to put no spaces between sentences in a few paragraphs.  To be fair, I probably did this, but ... I still blame pages.

More to follow ...
